Russell G. Evans is an associate at Rulon T. Burton & Associates where he works almost exclusively in the bankruptcy department. Mr. Evans graduated from Brigham Young University in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish translation and interpretation and minor in busines. He the graduated from Drake University Law School (Des Moines, IA) in 1995. Upon graduation, Mr. Evans returned to Utah to practice law.
Mr. Evans began his legal career in the juvenile and family law courts in the 3rd District of Utah. He was involved in several termination of parental rights trials and countless divorce and family law hearings and trials. He even had the opportunity to argue before the Appellate Court for the State of Utah. Mr. Evans began his bankruptcy career in 1997 when he came to work at Rulon T. Burton & Associates. Since that time, he has appeared in thousands of hearings and been instrumental in helping thousands work towards a bankruptcy discharge.
Mr. Evans lived in Argentina for two years and is fluent in Spanish.
